School Uniform and Jewellery

Please ensure that your child is suitably dressed for school every day. Pupils should wear the full school uniform. The school uniform comprises of the following:

Girls normal/winter

  • Grey skirts or trousers
  • White polo shirts
  • Green cardigans
  • Sensible school shoes (black)

Boys normal/winter

  • Grey trousers
  • White polo shirts
  • Green jumpers
  • Sensible school shoes (black)

  • Summer dress – green and white pinafore dress
  • Grey shorts
  • Children may wear hats to be protected from the sun

During the winter months, it is important to have layers of clothes and a coat.

You are very welcome to buy clothing according to the school colour which is green or from the school’s supplier which is Ocean Design in Watney Market. Pupils may not wear any jewellery except stud earnings while at school.

Physical Education (PE)

All pupils must do PE each week. It is essential that pupils bring a PE kit and a change of clothes. The PE kit should include

  • Jogging bottoms/shorts – black
  • T-shirt – parents can buy house T-shirts from school – colours are allocated through class
  • Trainers for outside sessions

PE times are displayed on classroom windows. Pupils can bring their kit on Monday and keep it at school until Friday. If your child forgets their PE kit, we will telephone you to bring it in before the PE session or provide a school kit. The school has separate changing rooms for boys and girls.

Pupils in Years 3 and 4 will go swimming as part of their PE. The swimming pool is cultural-sensitive and will allow girls to wear lycra leggings if required. We do not allow pupils to miss swimming for minor illnesses. The school policy is that ‘if a child is well enough to come to school, they are well enough to go swimming or do PE’.

It is important that all items of school uniform is clearly labelled with pupils full name to ensure that they do not become lost property.
