Pupils may not wear any jewellery except stud earrings while at school.
Physical Education (PE)
All pupils must do PE each week. It is essential that pupils bring a PE kit and a change of clothes. The PE kit should include
- Jogging bottoms/shorts – black
- T-shirt – parents can buy house T-shirts from school – colours are allocated through class
- Trainers for outside sessions
PE times are displayed on classroom windows. Pupils can bring their kit on Monday and keep it at school until Friday. If your child forgets their PE kit, we will telephone you to bring it in before the PE session or provide a school kit. The school has separate changing rooms for boys and girls.
Pupils in Years 4 will go swimming as part of the PE curriculum. The swimming pool is cultural-sensitive and will allow girls to wear lycra leggings if required. We do not allow pupils to miss swimming for minor illnesses. The school policy is that ‘if a child is well enough to come to school, they are well enough to go swimming or do PE’.
It is important that all items of school uniform is clearly labelled with pupils full name to ensure that they do not become lost property.
